Pain in this area is commonly known as pelvic pain. With the desire to start lightly at first, it can get quite intense over time. It is a pain that shows its effect with muscle contractions and cramps, especially in the abdomen. If it lasts more than 6 months, then it has become chronic and it is imperative to get support under the supervision of a specialist doctor. Success in the treatment of pelvic fractures depends on a clear determination of the type of fracture, the severity of the additional injuries, the general condition of the patient and the skill of the intensive care team. Treatment of stable fractures is conservative. Avulsion fractures are treated with bed rest and analgesics. If the anterior and posterior part of the pelvic ring are vertically and rotationally stable, conservative treatment methods will suffice. Treatment of unstable, high-energy fractures is complicated. Such patients have skeletal, neurological, vascular and other injuries. These injuries complicate treatment and increase mortality and morbidity. These wounds are the cause of death. Purpose in the treatment of high-energy pelvic injuries; prevent premature death from haemorrhage, early diagnosis and treatment of associated injuries, and restore the patient to the level of function prior to the injury.

The pelvis is an oval-shaped region of the body that sits between the hip bones and protects the abdominal organs.
